About Us
Shorebird Cycles is in the friendly seaside village of Kaiaua, the start of the Hauraki Rail Trail. Centrally located at 933 East Coast Road, between the Gas station and Bayview Hotel, we are a family run business with a love of travel, culture, nature and a 35 year connection with this unique environment we reside in.
The Shorebird coast is not only a wildlife area of international significance, it is surrounded by the Hunua range and several regional parks with beautiful bush walks and secluded beaches. The coast is also rich in history, scattered with galleries, great food and boutique accommodation, including the Miranda thermal springs.
We are cycling enthusiasts and have invested in:

Safety - high visibility Bell helmets, first aid, puncture and tool kits supplied.
Everyone has different requirements and interests - Shorebird Cycles offer everything from a simple half day discovery hire to an all inclusive multi-day hire, with shuttle and luggage services.
